Lodgeway Tractors, established in 1977, is a family run business owned by Managing Director Chris Rook and company secretary Christine Rook. Very involved in the company also, are son Jonathan Rook as Sales manager and daughter Caroline Sales Administration and Accounts.
Much of Lodgeway’s recent success has centred around the Massey Ferguson brand. Indeed, Chris prides himself in his business ethic of fewer franchises, better customer support. "We select franchises entirely appropriate to local farming requirements and then invest heavily in parts inventory and service training." Lodgeway believes this policy allows them to speak from authority in response to sales enquires and are more likely to have the part on the shelf to effect immediate repairs. Massey Ferguson are rapidly increasing their market share.
